Cobra’s Curse spinning roller coaster coming to Busch Gardens Tampa next year

A one of its kind in the world spinning roller coaster is coming to the Egypt area of Busch Gardens Tampa next year, and it’s themed to snakes.

Cobra’s Curse will feature a vertical lift, forwards motion, backwards motion and free spinning. Explorers will come face-to-face with an 80-foot snake icon and trek over the park’s Serengeti Plain and discover the mysteries of an Egyptian archeological excavation.

“This isn’t your ordinary spin coaster. In true Busch Gardens style, we’re putting a twist on this attraction and taking riders on an unforgettable and exciting journey,” said Busch Gardens Park President Jim Dean.”

Ride Length: 2,100 feet of track
Maximum Speed: More than 40 mph
Ride Duration” More than three and a half minutes
Height Requirement: 42 inches
