Universal Beijing will proceed with the operational testing and rehearsals on the basis of “strict control of daily visitation volume in line with pandemic control requirement.”

As a result, the Universal Studios Beijing theme park, Universal CityWalk Beijing and two hotels — The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel — will be open to invited guests only, including selected resort partners and a limited number of winners in official marketing activities. A series of operational measures will be put in place related to pandemic prevention and control for those visiting during this time.

During this trial period, invited guests will have the chance to experience select rides, attractions, shows, and dining locations throughout the theme park on designated dates. Comments and feedback from these guests will be used to adjust operations prior to an official grand opening of the resort.

Guests visiting the park during this test-and-adjust period will encounter safety initiatives like screening, social distancing, sanitization, and disinfection throughout the resort, as well as pre-registration with ID verification, verification of Health Code and temperature checks at entry. Guests will also be required to wear masks and keep socially distant during their visit.

However, if you are not among the invited few, you’ll have to be patient — Universal Studios Beijing Trial Operations Tickets will not be sold to the general public and cannot be transferred.
