Universal Orlando Resort adds mobile ordering to official theme park app

Universal Orlando Resort is making eating in the parks easier, thanks to the recent addition of mobile ordering to their official theme park app.

Guests can now order ahead of time from The Burger Digs in Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and pick up their food with no wait!

This option is for dine-in guests only, and no Annual Pass discounts, Universal Orlando Gift Cards and the Universal Dining Plan are not accepted. Guests must purchase with their credit or debit card linked to the app.

The mobile ordering feature only appears to work if guests are in-park, likely due to a GPS feature in the app. Currently, we know of only The Burger Digs testing this new feature in Islands of Adventure, but it is possible that another dining location is testing in Universal Studios Florida as well.

There is no word on when this new mobile ordering feature will roll out to other dining locations at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal CityWalk or Universal’s Volcano Bay. Stay tuned to our website for more updates.
