‘Us’ announced for Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights 2019
Guests will enter the world of Jordan Peele’s blockbuster horror film “Us” this Halloween, as it’s the latest house to be announced for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
In this new house, guests will walk through the Wilson family beach house and Santa Cruz Pier, where a familiar face might be waiting outside a Fun House. Travel through the tunnels that stretch for miles deep below America and come face-to-face with “The Tethered,” a group of doppelgängers of every living person in the country. In this house, you’ll learn that you are your own worst enemy.
The maze will follow in the footsteps of Adelaide Wilson as she experiences her traumatic encounter with her tethered double, Red, and faces off with her in a deadly encounter with a fatal ending. Moving deeper into the house, guests will be transported to modern-day and witness “The Tethered” rise from their underground homes to take on their privileged, above-ground counterparts.
“It’s very exciting to know that fans of ‘Us’ will get to experience firsthand the terror of being stalked and tormented by ‘The Tethered.’ It’s been a lifelong ambition of mine to create a monster that would scare people on Halloween, so having ‘The Tethered’ join such esteemed company is a dream come true,” said Jordan Peele.
