Visit Orlando launches ‘Orlando To Go’ campaign to help local restaurants

To help Orlando’s restaurant community through the ongoing virus crisis and to encourage residents to take advantage of take-out and delivery options, Visit Orlando is launching a new “Orlando To Go” campaign.

The campaign includes a website directory of more than 120 restaurants throughout the city that are now offering take-out and delivery options.

The program launches alongside today’s national #TheGreatAmericantTakeout Day, which invites people across the country to show their support for restaurants and their employees by eating at least one delivery or takeout meal.

“We must come together as a community to support our local business and the people who are employed by them,” said George Aguel, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “While we may not be able to enjoy everything our destination normally offers, we can each do our part by seeking our delivery and takeout options from Orlando’s incredible collection of restaurants who need us right now.”

Many local restaurants are taking the current statewide mandates to only serve take-out and delivery in stride, offering unique menus with family-style options, craft beer, cocktails to go and more.
