Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary license plate now available for pre-purchase

Share your love of Disney and help grant “wishes” with the first-ever specialty Walt Disney World Resort license plate!

Florida-registered car owners can proudly display their love for all things Disney with a brand-new Walt Disney World 50th anniversary license plate. This exciting new offering represents the first time Disney has ever issued a license plate design, making it a historical event, a celebration of the upcoming anniversary, and the chance to support a worthy cause.

Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida are the recipients of proceeds from the sale of these first-ever license plates, recognizing Disney’s longstanding relationship with the children’s charity. The Resort has participated in helping to grant more than 140,000 Disney-inspired “wishes” since 1980, and more than 8,000 children with life-threatening illnesses and their families benefit each year.

The license plate’s design has yet to be announced (stay tuned for more!) but pre-sale vouchers are available for purchase now, for $25 plus applicable state administration fees, by appointment at local County Tax Collector’s offices and license plate agencies (DMVs) throughout Florida. Online pre-sales will be available soon.
