Ain Dubai is the world’s tallest and largest observation wheel
Standing at a staggering height of over 820 feet — nearly double the London Eye — the newly-opened Ain Dubai is now the tallest and largest observation wheel in the world.
Located on the island destination of Bluewaters, Ain Dubai is right at home in a city already known for spectacular construction records, including the world’s tallest building: the 2,722-foot Burj Khalifa. Another staggering statistic is that it took 11,200 metric tons of steel to build the massive wheel, which is one-third more than to build Paris’ Eiffel Tower.
Followed at a distance by the 550-foot High Roller at the Linq Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the record-breaking wheel provides 360-degree views of the city in 48 air-conditioned observation cabins that can accommodate 1,750 visitors simultaneously.
Visitors can book tickets for the 38-minute rotation in a shared or private cabin. Private cabins can also be reserved for bespoke dining and themed experiences for 8-10 guests, including “Pizza & Hops” (beer), “Cheese & Grapes” (wine), and the “Ain Dubai Karaoke” option where up to 10 guests can sing their hearts out while they circle the wheel.
For an extra special occasion, the three-course “Dine in the Sky” and “Tasting & Mezze” packages include two full rotations with a choice of day, sunset, or night timeslots.
Tickets for Ain Dubai start at AED 130.0 (about $35) with a family pass for two adults and two children ages 3-12 starting at AED 370.0 (about $100). Guests 21+ can enjoy VIP cocktail experiences starting AED 175.0 (about $48). Dining and themed experience prices vary depending on the options selected.
