To celebrate the upcoming release of the live-action version of “The Lion King,” this new experience will give guests the chance to learn how live animals have inspired many of the characters from the classic story. Guess will learn about some of the animals who call Disney’s Animal Kingdom home, and then create a personalized piece of Disney art through an instructor-led class.

Some of the characters from “The Lion King” will star in The Animation Experience, which will begin when Rafiki’s Planet Watch reopens on July 11. Guests can learn to draw Simba, Zazu, Pumbaa, Timon and more. Each session will be different, and Disney FastPass+ will be offered for the experience. FastPasses will be available starting later today.
