Bluey Magic Shots at Disney’s Animal Kingdom — and more Disney PhotoPass news
Disney PhotoPass is preparing to roll out new Bluey and Bingo Magic Shots at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, plus an expanding lineup of character-driven photo experiences throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
If you’ve ever seen a PhotoPass Magic Shot and immediately thought “OMG where do I find this?”… this one’s going to be worth tracking down.
At a recent media event, Disney started teasing new Bluey and Bingo Magic Shots coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Where you’ll be able to find them
Based on early information, guests can expect to find these Bluey magic shots in a few key spots:
- Around the Tree of Life, the back walkway between Africa and Asia
- Additional locations may roll out across the park
Some of the sample images appear to be behind the Tree of Life, giving you a chance to capture the moment, a short walk from the ‘Wildlife Express’ station for the train that will take you to and from the Bluey experience inside Animal Kingdom.

These new photos have play-based interactions inspired by the show, with themes like:
- Keepy Uppy
- The Grannies
- Dance Mode
Each one encourages different poses, reactions, and movement—basically turning your PhotoPass stop into a mini Bluey moment.

If you’re trying to track these down in real time, make sure to follow Disney PhotoPass on Instagram. They usually share exact locations, example photos and when new Magic Shots officially go live.
It’s one of the easiest ways to answer that “wait, where is this?!” question while you’re in the park.
Other new PhotoPass moments
Bluey continues to be one of the most in-demand family IPs right now, but there are other new moments that Disney PhotoPass is rolling out.
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new Muppets-themed Magic Shot near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is striking a very different pose. This rock-themed Muppets moment will roll out in time for the opening of ‘Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.’
And at the exit of the refreshed ‘Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin‘, you can capture an enhanced on-ride photo with graphics that show the date of your mission, your score, your rank, and other details. It’s a great addition to the lineup of Toy Story experiences at Walt Disney World.
Bluey Magic Shots at Animal Kingdom, Muppets moments at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and refreshed Buzz Lightyear on-ride photos all point to Disney PhotoPass expanding in ways that make capturing the moment an attraction itself.
