Universal, AMC announce agreement to shorten theatrical window
AMC Theatres and Universal have reached a new multi-year agreement that effectively shortens the theatrical window in which movie-goers can see the latest releases at the theater before they’re made available on demand.

Disney announces big delays for ‘Mulan,’ ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Avatar’ movie releases
After twice delaying the release of the live-action version of “Mulan,” which was originally scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on March 27, Disney has announced that they’re pressing pause on sending the movie to theaters indefinitely. The film’s release was previously pushed to July 24, then to Aug. 21.
