By Anthony Armenia It’s time for another look at Magic Kingdom’s new Fantasyland construction progress. This time we will give you a ground point-of-view of the expansion. A lot of progress has happened since our last post.
The One Man’s Dream exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be getting an update this week. Part of what guests will see is a video produced by Walt Disney Imagineering showing what’s being worked on currently in the parks, including the new Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom.
Yesterday was an emotional one for Flynn Rider, Rapunzel and all the cast who help out at the Tangled play and greet experience at Magic Kingdom. Flynn made his last regular appearance in the Fairytale Garden with Rapunzel.

The Little Mermaid dark ride is now open. Sorry Walt Disney World guests, it’s only open at Disney’s California Adventure theme park. It’s still under construction at the Magic Kingdom. Reigning Indianapolis 500 champion Dan Wheldon, his wife Susie and two-year-old son Sebastian, served as the grand marshals in the daily parade at the Magic Kingdom today.
Universal Orlando’s has released a free mobile app for Apple and Android phones, joining SeaWorld, which also released a free app earlier this year and Disney World, which offers a paid app for Verizon customers. Busch Gardens officials say their mobile app is in the works.
