Catwoman Whip and Adventure Cove coming to Six Flags St. Louis

The park’s summer season kicks off with two new attractions, one in partnership with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and DC and the other a water play area for youngsters.
“We are excited to finally bring our guests the long-awaited opening of these two great additions,” said Phil Liggett, park president. “Catwoman Whip combines height, speed, and dual motion to add yet another heart-pounding experience for thrill seekers, while Adventure Cove combines interactive features, slides, and new technology to create the perfect water adventure for our younger guests.”
Catwoman Whip thrill ride whips and flips riders into the air
Launch 16-stories into the air on this dual-spinning ride that whirls in a vertical circle while its open-air pods flip riders head-over-heels.
Each pod seats eight riders – four across, and back-to-back – performing a series of catapults 164 feet into the air followed by dives back down toward the ground. Throughout each rotation, pods flip upside down as the central arm whips around at 52 m.p.h.
Catwoman Whip is located in the park’s newly renovated plaza area and is distinguished by a statue of the DC super-villain, Catwoman.
Adventue Cove arrives in Hurricane Harbor
Multi-level water play structure Adventure Cove is designed for young park-goers and includes 71 electronic ignition features such as water cannons, jets, blasters, geysers, and more.
The structure’s highlight is its 30-foot-tall Hydro Storm bucket, which dumps 750 gallons of water in a 360˚ array, plus a pirate ship and four slides for summertime watery fun.
