Disney Believe’s new ‘Frozen’ restaurant won’t repeat the experience you already know

Disney Cruise Line is bringing another “Frozen” dining adventure to life aboard Disney Believe. The new Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast will take families into the forests of Arendelle for a meal filled with music, familiar characters and an entirely new story.

Yoo-hoo! Oaken is ready to welcome families to his corner of Arendelle, and this time, there’s no royal banquet to attend. Disney Believe’s new “Frozen” restaurant takes guests beyond the castle, through a birch forest and into a Scandinavian summerhouse for a celebration hosted by everyone’s favorite trading post owner and his family.

The restaurant was announced Oct. 7, 2026, ahead of the ship’s December 2027 debut.

How Oaken’s Table differs from the Disney Wish’s Frozen restaurant

Families who have sailed aboard the Disney Wish may already know Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, which celebrates Anna and Kristoff’s engagement with a royal banquet, live performances and character appearances.

I’ve sailed aboard the Disney Wish three times, and Arendelle has consistently been a highlight of the dining experience. Its combination of recognizable songs, characters and dinner theater is particularly appealing. And the incorporation of some of the “Frozen 2” songs gives the performances some great variety.

Oaken’s Table takes a different approach. Instead of celebrating the royal couple’s engagement, guests will visit Oaken’s summerhouse for a gathering hosted by his extended family.

Inside Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast

The experience begins at Oaken’s Trading Post, where guests will find snowshoes, blankets and other familiar details from the “Frozen” films. From there, families will pass a carved totem featuring the trolls, travel through a birch forest and arrive at a Scandinavian-inspired summerhouse.

Oaken and his family will host the festivities, with musical entertainment and appearances by Anna and Kristoff. Walt Disney Imagineering senior creative director Kevin Thomas described the restaurant as a new chapter in the “Frozen” story, developed in partnership with Disney Live Entertainment.

“If you think the engagement party was fun, just wait until you see what Oaken and his family have in store for us.”

There’s also an interesting detail in Disney’s concept art: Anna appears to be wearing her springtime outfit from “Frozen Fever,” the animated short in which Elsa catches a cold while preparing Anna’s birthday celebration.

That costume is different than her royal gown worn at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure.

Oaken’s Table arrives just weeks after ‘Frozen 3’

“Frozen 3” arrives in theaters Nov. 24, 2027, just weeks before Disney Believe begins sailing Dec. 18. Disney has not confirmed whether the dining experience will include any references to the upcoming film. But even if it stays focused on the earlier movies and shorts, the restaurant is sure to be a hit with families.
