We’re currently aboard Disney Wish for a special Disney Believe reveal cruise, where Disney Cruise Line has spent the past several days teasing its newest ship through clues, challenges and surprises. Now it’s time for the big reveal.

Disney Believe bookings open Oct. 19

Cruise Director Trent Hitchcock closed the Disney Believe reveal, reminding guests that the ship will set sail Dec. 18, 2027, with four- and five-night Caribbean voyages from Fort Lauderdale.

Bookings for Disney Believe will open Oct. 19, 2026.

Some Disney Believe venues remain a mystery

Disney did not address every familiar Wish-class space during the presentation. Notably, there was no discussion of whether 1923 or Worlds of Marvel will return aboard Disney Believe. Disney also did not detail a handful of familiar Wish-class attractions and venues.

5:18 p.m. ET: Disney reveals more Disney Believe stateroom themes after livestream

Disney Parks continued announcing details about Disney Believe on social media following the ship’s livestream reveal on Oct. 7, 2026, including new looks at its staterooms and suites.

Standard staterooms will feature all-new papercut-style artwork inspired by Disney stories including “Moana,” “Coco” and “The Lion King.”

Disney also shared two additional accommodation reveals:

  • “Peter Pan” concierge accommodations: Concierge staterooms and suites will feature designs inspired by “Peter Pan,” with Disney describing them as “pixie-dusted.”
  • “Toy Story” oceanview rooms: Several special oceanview rooms directly above the ship’s bridge will feature “Toy Story” theming and floor-to-ceiling views.

Disney Believe reveal closes with a message to ‘always believe’

5:05 p.m. ET update: The Disney Believe storytellers and music makers wrapped up the presentation with a final message tying together the themes introduced throughout the reveal: the magic of music and the power of friendship, family and fun.

Disney encouraged guests to carry these stories with them wherever they go, embrace every possibility in their own stories and, above all, “always believe.”

‘Encanto’ stage show coming to Disney Believe

5:00 p.m. ET update: Disney Believe will debut a new “Encanto” stage adaptation in 2027, confirming one of our major predictions for the ship.

Susan Egan introduced a video message from Lin-Manuel Miranda as Disney described the production as celebrating the heart of the story — family and its vibrant Colombian culture.

Following the announcement, performers presented a medley of music from “Encanto,” including “Dos Oruguitas,” the emotional song accompanying Abuela Alma and Pedro’s story in the film.

‘Tangled: The Musical’ is being reimagined for Disney Believe

4:57 p.m. ET update: “Tangled: The Musical,” currently performed aboard Disney Magic, is coming to Disney Believe in a reimagined production created for the new ship.

Susan Egan, godparent of Disney Destiny, joined the presentation to perform “When Will My Life Begin?”

Magic Kingdom Tower Suite revealed for Disney Believe

4:53 p.m. ET update: Disney Believe will feature a two-story Magic Kingdom Tower Suite, with lighting effects inspired by the park’s nighttime atmosphere, including balloons and fireworks.

Sea Notes brings The Little Mermaid to Disney Believe

4:51 p.m. ET update: Sea Notes will be Disney Believe’s “The Little Mermaid”-inspired piano bar. Performers are now singing “Under the Sea.”

Skygazers brings grown-up dreams to Disney Believe

4:50 p.m. ET update: Disney revealed Skygazers, a new space aboard Disney Believe inspired by an astronomer’s lookout tower. Jiminy Cricket, Mufassa, and Moana mentioned during the reveal, with Disney describing it as a place where grown-ups can dream, too.

The livestream briefly skipped during this portion of the presentation, so we’re waiting for more details from our staff who is on board on exactly where Stargazers fits into Disney Believe’s venue lineup.

Oaken’s Table brings a new part of Arendelle to Disney Believe

4:49 p.m. ET update: Disney Believe will introduce Oaken’s Table, taking guests into a never-before-seen part of Arendelle inspired by “Frozen.”

The experience will also feature Oaken’s family band.

Joyful Sweets returns with new treats and more emotions

4:47 p.m. ET update: Joyful Sweets will return aboard Disney Believe, continuing the “Inside Out” theme found aboard Disney Wish.

Disney showed all-new sweets and treats for the Believe version, along with an expanded lineup of emotions. Concept art features Joy, Sadness, Envy and Anxiety.

Disney Believe revisits its stern and bow characters

4:45 p.m. ET update: Disney revisited two previously announced Disney Believe features: Woody and Buzz Lightyear on the ship’s stern and Tinker Bell at the bow.

The presentation leaned into Tinker Bell’s message of faith, trust and pixie dust, asking the audience who believes in fairies before performers began singing “You Can Fly.”

Zootopia takes the stage aboard Disney Believe

4:43 p.m. ET update: “Zootopia” is coming to Disney Believe with a space inspired by Gazelle. From what Disney has shown so far, it appears to be the ship’s flexible entertainment venue, similar to Luna aboard Disney Wish, Sarabi aboard Disney Treasure and Saga aboard Disney Destiny.

Monsters, Inc. coming to Disney Believe’s Oceaneer Club

4:42 p.m. ET update: Disney Believe will feature a new “Monsters, Inc.” entrance to Disney’s Oceaneer Club.

The Wishing Well Lounge revealed for Disney Believe

4:40 p.m. ET update: The Wishing Well Lounge will be Disney Believe’s open-space lounge. Disney showed concept art featuring blossoms and apples throughout the space.

Haunted Mansion Parlor returns?

Disney teased that the Magic Mirror may be found elsewhere aboard the ship. Haunted Mansion music then began playing as the presentation moved to the next reveal.

The Wishing Well Lounge revealed for Disney Believe

4:40 p.m. ET update: The Wishing Well Lounge will be Disney Believe’s open-space lounge. Disney showed concept art featuring blossoms and apples throughout the space.

Disney Believe cafés revealed: Moana and Big Hero 6

4:38 p.m. ET update: Disney Believe’s two midship cafés have been revealed. Café Kakamora will draw inspiration from the coconut-armored Kakamora and other characters from “Moana.”

The second location will be Big Hero Sips, a “Big Hero 6”-inspired café.

Disney Believe to sail from Fort Lauderdale

4:34 p.m. ET update: Disney Believe will sail four- and five-night cruises from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Disney Believe maiden voyage set for December 2027

4:33 p.m. ET update: Tracy Wilson, senior vice president of Disney Cruise Line, took the stage to make the first major announcement: Disney Believe will sail its maiden voyage on Dec. 18, 2027.

Trent Hitchcock and Tracy Wilson takes the stage

4:30 p.m. ET update: Trent Hitchcock, the opening Cruise Director of Disney Believe, is helping lead the reveal. Hitchcock has been with Disney Cruise Line for nearly 20 years and will be aboard Disney Believe for its maiden voyage and inaugural season.

Disney Believe reveal pre-show begins aboard Disney Wish

4:15 p.m. ET update: We’re inside the Walt Disney Theatre aboard Disney Wish, where the pre-show is beginning ahead of the Disney Believe reveal at 4:30 p.m.

Guests lined up outside the theater before doors opened, and Disney handed out bags of blue-and-white popcorn on the way in. The stage is dressed with travel trunks, maps and other props tied to the storybook journey Disney has built around this week’s Believe clues.

The presentation is also being streamed to staterooms and Funnel Vision aboard Disney Wish for guests who aren’t inside the theater.
