Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts, the first of the Walt Disney World park’s series of annual festivals, will kick off on January 14, 2022, and last until February 21, with the additional enchantment of being part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration for the Resort’s 50th anniversary event.

Fans of the Festival of the Arts will be able to enjoy the usual array of the performing, visual, and culinary arts for the six-plus-week program, with highlights including the signature paint-by-numbers mural, chalk artists, and Figment’s scavenger hunt.

But the big news for many will be the confirmation that the live showcase concert series will be performing once again after it was canceled during the ongoing pandemic measures last winter.

The “Disney on Broadway” series features some of the key stage performers from smash-hit Disney musicals such as “The Lion King,” “Mary Poppins,” and “Newsies,” singing live on the America Gardens Theatre stage in Epcot’s American Adventure pavilion.

The duos perform three sets each evening, usually at 5:30, 6:45, and 8:30 p.m., and reserved seating is available through the “Disney on Broadway” concert series dining packages that offer breakfast, lunch, or dinner at one of several featured Epcot restaurants.

Past performers at the concerts include Ashley Brown (from Disney’s “Mary Poppins”), Syndee Winters (“The Lion King”), and Heidi Blickenstaff (“The Little Mermaid”).
