Disneyland Resort’s nighttime spectaculars have returned!
Disneyland Resort’s nighttime spectaculars “Main Street Electrical Parade,” “Disneyland Forever” fireworks, and “World of Color” make their long-awaited return, starting tonight, April 22, 2022.
Just ahead of the April 30 one-year anniversary of Disneyland Resort’s reopening after a pandemic-related closure, Disneyland park’s “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks will light up the night again, as will “World of Color” at Disney California Adventure Park.

For a limited time, the parade will take to the streets again, and will include a new grand finale float that celebrates 50 years of togetherness. Disney Legend Mary Blair’s artwork was the inspiration for the parade’s animatronic dolls, adding whimsy and charm to the fan-favorite procession of floats featuring characters from Disney’s movies.
“Disneyland Forever”
Also returning for a limited time is this fireworks extravaganza in the Disneyland park, which ends guests’ day with a pyrotechnics and projection show over and on Sleeping Beauty Castle. The spectacle will take place each Friday-Sunday from April 22 until late spring. “Mickey’s Mix Magic” projections-only show will run nightly throughout the summer.

Animation comes to life through powerful water-screen fountains, music, fire, fog, and laser effects in the Disney California Adventure Park, telling favorite Disney and Pixar stories.
A virtual queuing system will be available through the Disneyland mobile app for special “World of Color” viewing areas. Distribution will begin at noon each day. Guests using the virtual queue can enter through marked Blue or Yellow entry points 30-35 minutes before showtime. Walk-up options may be available, and virtual queue reservations are not required to view the show from the Paradise Bay area of the park, on a first-come, first-served basis.
“As we approach the one-year anniversary of the Disneyland Resort reopening April 30, we are thrilled to welcome back our beloved nighttime spectaculars and introduce all-new offerings that underscore our incredible momentum and set the stage for much more to come in the future,” said Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock.
“Fantasmic!” will make its grand come-back to the Rivers of America section of the Disneyland park, starting on May 28, 2022, in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Dining packages and dessert parties which include access to select viewing areas can be reserved.
Specialty foods and Exclusive merchandise will also be available.
