Centertown Market

This quick-service restaurant has gone through an expansion and reimagining as an indoor street market. The new space features open shutters, wooden light posts, awnings and new foods to try. The new menu will include a combination of family-friendly fast-casual bites with customizable Latin and Caribbean-inspired dishes. One of these is the new Island Bowl, which will be offered for breakfast and dinner.

These bowls can be customized with guests’ choices of base, protein, sauce – and for breakfast bowls, what kind of egg on top (scrambled, poached, or tofu scramble). Bases include red beans and rice (available all day), home fries (breakfast only), and greens (dinner only).

Protein choices include rotisserie beef, bacon, chorizo, or plant-based sausage for breakfast, and rotisserie beef, pork shoulder banana leaf-wrapped fish, jerk chicken thighs, or vegan chipotle seitan for dinner.

Breakfast sauces include salsa verde or pico de gallo, while dinner sauces include chimichurri, garlic ranch, or spicy pink sauce. This makes for over 30 different combinations to choose from for breakfast and dinner.

Also on the breakfast menu are offerings like Eggs Benedict or the All-American Breakfast Platter with eggs, home fries, sausage, bacon, and toast; as well as island-inspired eats like Coconut Waffles with fruit or Banana Pancakes topped with granola and pineapple chunks, served with sausage and maple syrup.

Kids have a variety of options here, as well! They can enjoy favorites like Pirate Mickey Waffles and French Toast for breakfast, and Chicken Breast Nuggets, Tacos and Grilled Cheese for dinner.

For the adventurous little eaters, they can try the Egg Popper for breakfast (a hard-boiled egg pop with green pirate juice, roasted pineapple, and bacon) and the Beef and Mushroom-blended Cheeseburger for dinner (with “cauli” fries, orange sauce, and a mini build-your-own Island Bowl).

The Market’s beverage island will serve fountain beverages via a Coca-Cola Freestyle, as well as coffee, tea, draft beer, and single-serve wine and cocktails. Guests can also drop by the Grab ’n Go Market for specialty coffee and quick bites.

Banana Cabana

This new pool-side bar will feature an outdoor lounge where guests can gather for food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Inspired by the festive culture of the Caribbean, this area combines a relaxed seated atmosphere with a lively bar. Cabana-style drapes frame the seating groups and steel drums have been re-purposed into lights for the area.

Cocktails at the bar will include the Pink Guava Colada featuring rum, guava puree, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut; the Kraken Punch with spiced rum, blood orange sour, and pomegranate and orange juices. Caribbean beers will be available for guests, as well as a variety of craft and traditional beers and premium white and red wines on tap.

Non-alcoholic offerings include the Tropical Paradise, which blends pineapple, coconut, cinnamon, and lime, dusted with nutmeg on top.

Centertown Market and Banana Cabana are set to open in fall 2018, as part of the overall refurbishment of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
