While Marvel titles drew major attention, several other announced films also connect to brands already represented across Disney Experiences. The studio’s showcase included Toy Story 5, The Mandalorian and Grogu, the live-action Moana, and more.

The Walt Disney Studios closed out the studio presentations at 2026 CinemaCon® in Las Vegas yesterday, with a thrilling look at some of its upcoming theatrical releases. Stars and filmmakers from films including Disney Live Action, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures, helped screen exclusive footage and make several exciting announcements.

Toy Story remains a staple

Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” continues one of Disney’s most established franchises in the parks. Guests can already experience ‘Toy Story Land,’ ‘Toy Story Midway Mania!,’ and additional Toy Story-themed offerings at Walt Disney World and Disney destinations around the world.

Star Wars stays in the spotlight

Lucasfilm’s “The Mandalorian and Grogu” marks the return of Star Wars to theaters and highlights characters already popular with park guests. Din Djarin and Grogu will soon have a large presence at ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ with a revamped ‘Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run’ attraction.

Moana continues to grow

The live-action “Moana” also reinforces a franchise that has expanded significantly across Disney Experiences. Guests can visit Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at Epcot, meet characters, and find Moana-inspired entertainment aboard Disney Cruise Line ships.

Marvel remains part of the mix

Marvel Studios’ upcoming films continue the momentum of a brand already featured in Disney parks and onboard cruises. Marvel experiences currently include Avengers Campus (with two new attractions coming to Disney’s California Adventure) as well as Marvel-themed offerings aboard multiple Disney Cruise Line ships, including the new Disney Adventure.
