Theme parks are getting more targeted with ticket deals
Dollywood is not alone in refining how it approaches discounts. Across the industry, theme parks are coming out with a variety of offers that encourage travel during a time when things have slowed down.
At Walt Disney World, recent promotions include a limited-time ticket option that allow guests to enter after 2 p.m. at a lower price point. These types of offers appeal to locals, repeat visitors, and families looking for a shorter, more flexible park day while still driving incremental attendance.

Meanwhile, SeaWorld Orlando frequently rotates Florida resident deals, weekday pricing, and limited-time bundles that combine park admission with dining or quick queue access. These offers are often tied to specific seasons or events, giving guests a reason to visit during targeted windows.
Regional operators are also leaning into this approach. Six Flags parks routinely offer tiered pricing, passholder previews, and limited-time sales tied to new ride openings or seasonal festivals. Cedar Fair properties have similarly focused on season pass incentives and early-season promotions to lock in repeat visitation.
