Walt Disney World and alcohol aren’t usually the two things you first combine together. Unless, of course, you think of the International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. While Walt Disney World is a family-friendly destination, they don’t hold back on theming bars and drinks in their parks and hotels.
Walt Disney World has an ever-growing assortment of places to get alcohol. While getting a beer at dinner may seem normal, just a few years ago it was a big deal to purchase a drink at the Magic Kingdom. While Disneyland park in California still limits alcohol consumption to very few spots, Walt Disney World allows the purchase of adult beverages at almost any eatery.
We have compiled a list of some of the best bars on Walt Disney World property. Many are owned and operated by Disney, but others are taken care of by third party vendors.
Located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this otherworldly themed bar will throw you into the Star Wars universe. Drinks here will spew smoke, be adorned with cookies, and make your face tingle (no joke, the Fuzzy Tauntaun is my favorite Disney drink and actually offers a numbing sensation when you drink it).
To access this bar, guests will have to have theme park admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While the bar is currently not offering advance reservations, it is highly recommended to get a return time early in the day to secure a spot.
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto
Located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this tiki bar has earned its place on this list with wild drinks and even wilder staff. Ever wanted your drink to cause a volcanic eruption? At Trader Sam’s, it can. This smaller bar offers lively staff who go above and beyond with eccentric drink options.
This bar has indoor and outdoor areas, with a consistently long waitlist to get to the detailed bar inside. Guests also have a chance to purchase speciality souvenir mugs at a premium. Some of these high-end drinks and mugs will literally change the bar atmosphere.

Located at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, this magician-themed bar offers illusions, vintage props and delectable drinks. Guests can be mystified with specialty concoctions and the tastes of another time and place.
This bar is located next to the Flying Fish restaurant at Disney’s BoardWalk. Inside, guests can look for hidden Mickeys and references to S.E.A. as well as get the Seashore Sweet drink, which features “magical” disappearing cotton candy.
Also located at Disney’s BoardWalk, this cast member-favorite bar features high-energy dueling pianos. Be prepared for fan-favorite sing-along bar tunes as pianists take to the stage for your song suggestions.
If you ever wanted to sing alongside a hundred other people to Disney tunes and bar songs, this is your place. Jellyrolls’ energy skyrockets on Sunday nights when cast members get in for free.
La Cava del Tequila
Located in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot, this bar is one of the most famous for “drinking around the world.” This small Mexican-themed bar features specialty margaritas and strong alcoholic drinks.
To access this bar, guests will have to have theme park admission to Epcot. Located in the indoor section of the pavilion, it is highly recommended you arrive early to snag a spot in this cozy bar. If you start your drinking around the world here, you most likely aren’t making it to all 11 countries.
This bar has become a fan-favorite for Epcot loyalists and is the favorite location for drinks of Neil Patrick Harris. You can read up on Neil Patrick Harris’ signature drink at the bar here, and learn more about this establishment and check out their menu here.
Rose and Crown Pub
Located in the United Kingdom pavilion at Epcot, this pub features hearty drinks and British grub. Guests can embark on Irish Whiskey flights or taste test 20 different pub blend drinks.

Located at The Landing at Disney Springs, this wine bar features food and wine hand-selected by Master Sommelier George Miliotes. The bar features more than 140 wines and a wide array of alcohol-infused options.
Guests can enjoy food and beverages for brunch, lunch and dinner. While dinner offers a more fine-dining experience, lunch is an affordable way to eat a high-end meal (Wine Bar George is my favorite lunch location at Disney Springs — try the Steak Frites and the Crispy Mac and Cheese Bites). Wine fans can try anything from Frosé to a champagne experience, or taste a hand selected wine offering spending upwards of $85 per ounce for signature red wines.
Located at The Landing at Disney Springs, this bar and restaurant offers waterside dining next to antique nautical craft. Guests can also rent “amphicars” for a private water-based tour of Disney Springs.
The Boathouse offers a raw bar, buckets of coconut-fried shrimp, steaks, fresh seafood, and a great selection of desserts. Those looking for drinks can take a step outside onto the large dock. Here, guests can view the sunset while sippin’ down signature drinks like the Blueberry Lemonade, made with Stoli Blueberry, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, homemade lemonade, and fresh blueberries.
There are so many places to get a good drink at Walt Disney World — many that weren’t even mentioned here. But we feel this is a true representation of the best places to go grab a drink and relax. From a wild outpost on Batuu to the jungles of Disney’s Animal Kingdom; from drinks inspired by Disney classic films to drinks that will make you think you can sing as good as a Disney Princess, Walt Disney World has something for you.
