It won’t be long before we welcome a new year, and more magical surprises than ever await guests at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in 2022, including seasonal events and a brand-new nighttime spectacular.

The all-new nighttime spectacular debuting next year will bring Disney stories and memorable moments to life against the iconic Castle of Magical Dreams every Friday to Sunday night with a combination of animation, music, and multimedia effects.

The brand-new show will use projection mapping, water projections, theatrical lighting, lasers, choreographed water fountains, flames, pyrotechnics, and firework effects to take guests on a journey of life’s cherished moments through the lens of Disney stories, characters, and music.

Magical celebrations give guests plenty of reasons to visit Hong Kong Disneyland in 2022

From January to February, The “Magical Year After Year” Chinese New Year celebration kicks off the Year of the Tiger with Tigger.

From June to August, Pixar pals will get their summer splash on with “Pixar Water Play Street Party” on Main Street, U.S.A.

From September to October, Disney Halloween Time allows guests to party from day to night with spooky surprises from Disney characters and villains alike.

From November to December, “A Disney Christmas” wraps up a magical year as Mickey and friends celebrate with festive costumes, colorful lights, and even a magical snowfall.

Autumn 2022 will also be a special time for Duffy fans when Duffy’s new friend, LinaBell, comes to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort along with Duffy and Friends-themed merchandise and food and beverage items.

Marvel fans can assemble to celebrate the action-packed movies coming next year. In addition to popular Marvel-themed attractions like “Iron Man Experience” and “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!,” new Marvel Super Heroes will be ready for action and adventure at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2022.

Disney “Eatertainment” will also level up in 2022 with delicious meals, snacks, and beverages served in entertaining ways perfect for social media sharing. More than 30 new items will be available in the park and at the hotels each month, including a semi-buffet introduced at Explorer’s Club Restaurant, the return of the Food and Drink Fair, and delightful new offerings at resort hotels.
