Evel Knievel Experience turns America’s greatest daredevil into a Las Vegas attraction

A new attraction dedicated to legendary stunt performer Evel Knievel is heading to the Las Vegas Arts District this summer. The Evil Knievel Experience in Las Vegas combines museum artifacts, themed environments, and interactive stunt experiences into a destination built around one of America’s most recognizable pop culture icons.

The Evel Knievel Experience opens June 27, 2026, transforming the late daredevil’s motorcycles, jumpsuits, crash gear, and touring vehicles into a large-scale immersive attraction designed for both longtime fans and visitors discovering his story for the first time.

A stunt legend’s interactive attraction

The experience expands upon the original Evel Knievel Museum that opened in Topeka in 2017, but the Las Vegas version places much heavier emphasis on themed entertainment and interactive elements.

Over the years, Las Vegas has added a variety of attractions and themed entertainment venues to its roster. Just under a year ago, Las Vegas welcomed Universal Horror Unleashed. There are even hopeful plans for a new theme park in Las Vegas.

Inside, guests will find a collection of authentic artifacts tied directly to Knievel’s most famous jumps and crashes, including:

  • his red, white, and blue jumpsuits
  • original stunt motorcycles
  • the Snake River Canyon Skycycle X-2
  • the helmet worn during the infamous Caesars Palace crash
  • personal wardrobe pieces and memorabilia

One of the attraction’s largest centerpiece exhibits is “Big Red,” Knievel’s restored Mack truck and trailer. Visitors can walk through the massive touring vehicle, which was rebuilt by more than ninety craftsmen before being transported to Las Vegas.

Before the attraction officially opens, Big Red will make a ceremonial cross-country trip from Kansas City to Las Vegas as part of “Big Red’s Run,” culminating with an arrival on the Las Vegas Strip on May 23, 2026.

VR jumps, crash simulations, and stunt planning experiences

Several portions of the attraction are designed more like themed entertainment experiences than a traditional museum exhibit. A custom 4D virtual reality sequence places riders onto a vibrating motorcycle before launching them through a recreation of one of Knievel’s signature jumps over 16 cars.

Another interactive experience, called “Jump Planner,” allows visitors to map out their own stunt jumps and test whether the attempt would successfully land.

The attraction also includes “Bad to the Bones,” an exhibit focused on the injuries and crashes that became part of Knievel’s larger-than-life reputation. Archival footage, immersive storytelling elements, themed displays, and hands-on experiences continue throughout the space, creating an attraction that blends motorsports history with themed entertainment design.
