Express pass for single attractions now available at Universal Orlando “Universal Express Now”
Universal Express Single Attraction Access is now available at Universal Orlando, granting front-of-line entry into one ride as an alternative to purchasing an Express pass for the entire day.
Last fall, this option was tested at Universal Orlando, available for ‘Revenge of the Mummy’ at Universal Studios Florida and ‘Skull Island: Reign of Kong’ at Universal Islands of Adventure.
Now, as of April 13, 2026, this single-use option is available at Universal Orlando Resort. Previously, guests only had the option to purchase an Express pass for all eligible attractions as a bundle.
How does Universal Express Now work?
Guests can purchase Universal Express Now day of visit only, and only while physically inside the park where the selected attraction is located. The offering is currently available for select attractions at Universal Studios Florida (Studios), Universal Islands of Adventure (Islands), and Universal Epic Universe (Epic), with availability varying by attraction and capacity.
According to the FAQs, Universal Express Now:
- provides one-time Express queue access for a selected participating attraction
- is valid only during a specific time window
- is offered sporadically when availability opens
- can only be purchased in park, in the app
- is attraction-specific and time-specific, so it cannot be exchanged for another ride
- may be extended through the end of the day if the attraction temporarily closes during the guest’s entry window
Universal Express pass options explained
- Universal Express Unlimited: Skip the regular line multiple times per ride at participating attractions throughout the day. (only available at Stuidios and Islands)
- Universal Express: Skip the regular line once per participating attraction during your visit.
- Universal Express Now: Skip the regular line once at a single selected attraction during a specific return time window, purchased day-of in the app while inside the park.

Express Pass cost
During the test, the new single-use Express pass option cost $25 per person, per ride. By comparison, a Universal Express pass (not unlimited) for the entire day costs $245 for Studios and Islands today, April 14, 2026. The price fluctuates between $120 – $360, depending on the date you select.
Walt Disney World offers its Lightning Lane access as a bundle with multiple attractions and as a single-use service for select attractions.
