In addition to Fantasy Springs and its attractions, the adjacent Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel also opened June 6, 2024. Fantasy Springs Backstory

The backstory (or lore) of Fantasy Springs and its accompanying hotel is as follows:

Once upon a time, in a land far away, there was a magical spring where a spirit lived. While cultivating a beautiful garden, the spirit of the spring traveled on the water, following its curiosity, and encountered many fantasy stories.

When the spirit returned to the magical spring, she used her magical powers to carve the stones, branches, and trees around the spring, creating complex shapes that resembled the people she had met. Then, humming the many melodies she had heard on her travels, she made the water dance and frolic around.

The story continues to explain the origins of Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel:

Time passed, and one day, a woman called Duchess, who loved travel and adventure, came to this beautiful, magical spring. As she followed the water and the river that gushed out of the spring, she found various worlds of stories unfolding there.

Fascinated by the magical spring, she built a villa nearby, but eventually built a large mansion to share the world of stories with more friends. Even now, if you follow the stream that flows from the spring, you can visit the worlds of various stories.
