Five Guys opening soon at Universal CityWalk, with late-night HHN hours
Five Guys Burgers & Fries will open soon at Universal CityWalk Orlando. Joining the growing lineup of additions to Universal Orlando Resort, there is no official opening date for the new eatery, but Attractions Magazine was there tonight.
Attractions Magazine found the new Five Guys training staff on Wednesday evening, Sept. 23, on the upper level of CityWalk. The restaurant replaces the former Burger King Whopper Bar and adds another familiar quick-service option to the lineup.

There is also a useful perk for Halloween Horror Nights guests: signage to be displayed outside the restaurant says Five Guys will remain open until 1 a.m. during Halloween Horror Nights.
Five Guys has no announced opening date
The training witnessed tonight shows we are one step closer to an opening. Universal announced Sept. 18 that Five Guys was coming to the upper level of CityWalk, across from Bread Box Handcrafted Sandwiches, but described the restaurant only as “coming soon.”
That announcement confirmed a menu of burgers, hot dogs, hand-cut fries and milkshakes, along with a breakfast sandwich aimed at guests heading into Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. There is indoor and outdoor seating available, as confirmed by our visit.
As recently as Sept. 21, no official opening date or operating hours had been announced, so this period could be considered a soft opening.
Five Guys staying open late for Halloween Horror Nights
Now Halloween Horror Nights guests will have another late-night dining option at CityWalk.
A sign displayed at the restaurant Wednesday advertises “Five Guys Halloween Horror Nights — Open Until 1 AM.” Halloween Horror Nights 2026 runs on select nights through Nov. 1 and features 10 haunted houses as part of its 35th anniversary season.

Five Guys’ arrival also will come shortly after Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice opened Sept. 19; it’s the second new quick-service restaurant to begin serving guests at CityWalk in the same month.
