Halloween Horror Nights California haunted house reveal — Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America
Universal Studios Hollywood has announced its third Halloween Horror Nights 2024 haunted house, Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America.

Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America
Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) will return to Universal Studios Hollywood in California select nights Sept. 5 – Nov. 3, 2024. Today, Universal revealed Monstruos 2 as the third of eight haunted houses that guests can experience at this year’s event.

Universal teased the backstory of Monstruos 2 on social media by saying, “You can try to flee the clutches of the rider El Charro, the devil dog El Cadejo, and the boogeyman El Cucuy, but you can’t escape La Muerte.”

The narrative of Monstruos is original to HHN and not based on any existing horror franchise. The first Monstruos haunted house was introduced at HHN 2023 on the west coast (and will make its east-coast debut during HHN 2024 in Orlando).

Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America is the third house announced for California’s HHN 2024, following the previously revealed haunted houses: A Quiet Place (which will also be part of Florida’s HHN this year) and Dead Exposure: Death Valley.
