The Home Depot selling a 13-foot Jack Skellington, and other cool things this Halloween season

Turn your dream house into a nightmare Fantasmic this Halloween with a 7-foot-tall Ursula, or how about a 13-foot-tall Jack Skellington for both Halloween and Christmas? The Home Depot is making your nightmarish dreams come true this Halloween season with an array of animatronic and blow-up characters. Let’s take a look at Disney and other theme park characters.

Let’s start with the big one. The Home Depot is known for their giant 12-foot-tall Skeleton with moving eyes, and Skelly is back again this year. In fact, they will have seven different figures over eight feet tall this year. (One with a 12-foot wingspan.)

This 13-foot-tall animatronic Jack Skellington would be paired well with The Home Depot’s four-foot-tall ghost dog Zero.

But they’ll all be in the shadows of the 13-foot-tall Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King from “A Nightmare Before Christmas“. Jack talks when his motion sensor is triggered and his mouth and head moves. Speaking of heads, he’ll come with two faces. One with his angry eyes. (Just like Mr. Potato Head.) It also plays three melodies from Jack’s Lament, and has color-changing LED lights that shine on his head. Of course, you can also display this one during the Christmas holidays. He is $399.


This seven-foot-tall inflatable Ursula from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” features Flotsam and Jetsam swimming back and forth behind her head. They are lit from inside, as is she and her tentacles. She is $149.


Another new inflatable this year is one featuring the three Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s “Hocus Pocus”. They stand five feet tall and are lit from inside. They are $149.


Another cool new Disney item is a larger-than-life, three and a half-foot-tall animatronic Yoda. He has his green lightsaber ignited and Servo Motors move his head, eyes, ears, and mouth, as he utters sayings about the holidays. His eyes blink and his arms move too. He comes with a witch hat and a sign that says “Beware of the dark side you must”.

Like Jack, you can display him at Christmas too. You can switch his Halloween hat out with the included Santa cap, And change his sign to say “A merry Christmas you will have”. He is recommend for indoor use and costs $199.


The last new Disney item is this 13.5-foot-tall inflatible Oogie Boogie Archway. It’s lit from inside and features his iconic dice on once side. He’ll pair well with the large Jack Skellington animatronic figure. The arch is $179.


Switching holidays and theme parks, The Home Depot is also introducing this four-foot-tall animated Grinch. The Mean One sways back and forth as he dances to songs from the animated show, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”.


Jack Frost is not actually a character from a theme park, but he’s a very cool-looking six-foot-tall animatronic figure. He moves his mouth, head, and body, laughs, and has LED eyes. He’s sure to add a little scare to you’d holidays.


Of course, that’s not all the Disney and Universal characters you’ll find for the holidays at The Home Depot. Be sure to visit your local The Home Depot store to see and buy most of these halloween items in person starting at the end of August, 2023, but you’ll want to also visit HomeDepot.com as early as tomorrow morning (Thursday), because some of the decorations are online exclusives, and may sell out soon after they’re listed online.
