Jack in the Box teases ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ collaboration
Jack in the Box may be assembling its next superhero-sized fast-food collaboration. A new social media teaser features the chain’s familiar mascot dressed like Doctor Doom from Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday,” suggesting something sinister — and possibly delicious — is on the way.

Jack is no stranger to taking over the spotlight. Following the chain’s recent “The Simpsons” themed meals and collectible cups, it appears another major entertainment franchise could be headed to the drive-thru.
Below is the Instagram teaser from Jack in the Box, posted on Oct. 26, 2026.
Jack in the Box teases Doctor Doom in mysterious video
In a new Instagram reel, Jack appears seated on a throne, wearing his signature business suit beneath a Doctor Doom-inspired green cape and hood.
The imagery resembles promotional material for “Avengers: Doomsday,” in which Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., is positioned as the film’s central villain.
Jack taps his fingers on a green box, with what appears to be a rectangular door or vault on one side. Blue, red and yellow boxes sit nearby, adding to the mystery.
The accompanying caption reads: “Something’s assembling. Consider this your warning.” The word “assembling” is an unmistakable nod to the Avengers, while the costume and throne as decidedly Doctor Doom.
But what exactly is Jack in the Box assembling?
One possibility is a themed Munchie Meal, potentially accompanied by collectible cups, special packaging or another promotional item. The chain has previously offered entertainment-inspired meals and merchandise, including its recent “The Simpsons” collaboration.
Jack in the Box previously partnered with Marvel for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’
This wouldn’t be Jack in the Box’s first team-up with Marvel Studios. In 2024, the fast-food chain celebrated the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine” with Mini Chimi Bang Bangs, themed food packaging and collectible merchandise.
The promotion included limited-edition Deadpool antenna balls, available to the first 100 qualifying customers at participating restaurants, along with 2,000 collectible Deadpool and Wolverine packs distributed during San Diego Comic-Con, containing oversized 6-by-8-inch collectible cards featuring artwork from the film and Marvel comics.
Doctor Doom is already appearing in fast-food promotions
Jack in the Box wouldn’t be the first food brand to embrace the upcoming Marvel movie.
Several brands have already introduced or teased “Avengers: Doomsday” promotions, including Dunkin’, Oreo, M&M’s and Pop Secret, with offerings ranging from themed treats and packaging to movie ticket promotions.

The potential Jack in the Box collaboration would add another fast-food chain to the growing list of brands building excitement for the film.
We’ve been tracking the various “Avengers: Doomsday” food promotions and collectibles as the movie’s Dec. 18, 2026, theatrical release approaches.
For now, the only thing standing between Doctor Doom and total drive-thru domination is whatever Jack has locked inside his mysterious box.
