Jurassic World VelociCoaster now open at Universal Orlando Resort
Florida’s fastest and tallest launch coaster has been unleashed, as Jurassic World VelociCoaster is now officially open at Universal Orlando Resort.
Located in the Jurassic Park section of Universal’s Islands of Adventure, this new roller coaster is the first in the world to be based on the “Jurassic World” franchise, and features an original story that expands on the the thrills, dinosaurs, and environments fans know from the films.
Guests can even see appearances by franchise stars Bryce Dallas Howard, BD Wong, and Chris Pratt, reprising their roles.
Spanning more than 4,7000 feet of track and reaching heights up to 155 feet, the coaster will twist and soar above land, barrel roll just inches above the water, speed through near-misses and launches from within the raptor paddock — all with just a lap restraint holding riders in place.
Jurassic World VelociCoaster is also the first new attraction to get its very own dedicated Tribute Store, which you can check out in the video below:
