Lego joins the Disney100 celebration with ‘Share the Wonder’ videos

The Lego Group is celebrating Disney’s 100 anniversary by recreating some of the most beloved Disney movie moments in Lego brick form as part of its new three-part “Share the Wonder” video series.

The series will feature scenes from Disney and Pixar movies and encourage fans to share their favorite Lego Disney moments on social media using #SharetheWonder.

A statement from the Lego Group explains:

Disney100 is a celebration of timeless storytelling and unforgettable characters that have entertained and inspired people of all ages for a century. To commemorate 100 years of Disney, the Lego Group is inviting families to share the wonder of storytelling, imagination, and creative play that Lego Disney has inspired over the 24 years since it launched.

The Lego Group has also revealed its first collection of Disney100 sets to help fans experience Lego Disney storytelling at home.

Lego BrickHeadz Disney 100th Celebration Set ($39.99) – This set is available exclusively on Lego.com and includes buildable Lego figures of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mickey Mouse as Steamboat Willie, Snow White, and Tinker Bell.

Lego Duplo Disney 3 in 1 Magical Castle ($99.99) – This set allows Disney fans to recreate Disney’s iconic castle, along with Mickey, Minnie, Figaro, Daisy, and Donald. On sale April 1, 2023, exclusively on Lego.com.

Lego Disney Celebration Train ($39.99) – Fans can hop aboard the anniversary train with Disney and Pixar characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Moana, Peter Pan, and Toy Story characters in unique parade floats. On sale April 1, 2023, on Lego.com, Lego stores, and select retailers.

Lego Disney “Up” House ($59.99) – Disney and Lego fans can build the movie’s iconic house with this set featuring Carl Fredricksen, Wilderness Explorer Russel, and Dug as they prepare for takeoff. On sale April 1, 2023, on Lego.com, Lego stores, and select retailers.

In addition, a new Lego Minifigures Disney100 collection features 18 Disney characters from across the last 100 years. Each blind bag costs $4.99 and contains one minifigure. The collection goes on sale May 1, 2023, on Lego.com, Lego stores, and select retailers.

“Share the Wonder” will debut throughout the next month on the Lego website, Lego social media channels, and Disney’s YouTube channel.
