LEGO’s first Shrek sets turn Far Far Away into buildable fun
LEGO has revealed its first-ever Shrek sets, transforming the world of Far Far Away into buildable fun. Inspired by the beloved DreamWorks Animation franchise, the new collection features fan-favorite characters, including Shrek and Donkey, for ogre-sized adventures.

Inspired by iconic characters and memorable moments from the hit films, the new collection lets fans recreate adventures from Far Far Away with favorites including Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots, and Gingy.
One LEGO set and three BrickHeadz
For younger builders, the LEGO BrickHeadz Shrek, Donkey & Gingy set invites fans ages 10 and up to build stylized collectible versions of the three characters. The 259-piece set includes playful details such as Shrek’s signature ears, Donkey’s cheeky grin, Gingy’s icing buttons, and a miniature “Beware Ogre” swamp sign. The set is priced at $24.99.

The larger display set is packed with references longtime fans will appreciate, including sunflowers, an onion, and the blue flower with red thorns from the film. LEGO also says hidden Easter eggs can be found tucked inside Shrek’s belly for an extra layer of fun.
“Partnering with the LEGO Group to introduce Shrek in LEGO brick form marks an exciting moment as we celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary,” said Rafa Macias, Global Commercial Officer, Consumer Products, Games & Digital at Universal Products & Experiences.
“These sets bring Far Far Away to life with innovative design, fun Easter eggs for fans to discover, and storytelling – honoring the legacy that has made Shrek a cultural icon and inviting fans back to the swamp where it all began.”
In the details
The promotional photo of the new LEGO Shrek show a brick-builty Shrek figure beside Donkey, with a small Puss in Boots figure riding on Donkey’s back. The base includes swamp-style details, flowers, and a humorous “Beware Ogre” sign, capturing the playful tone of the Shrek films. Naturally the set includes an onion nodding to Shrek’s famous “layers” speech, and the blue flower with red thorns from the film.
