Marvel reveals its lineup of panels, events, guests, and more for D23 Expo

Marvel has unveiled an exciting agenda of presentations, giveaways, interactive opportunities, and guest appearances when D23 Expo comes to California’s Anaheim Convention Center from September 9-11, 2022.

Expo visitors will find costume displays, a photo activation, and other themed elements as they explore the Marvel Studios Pavilion on the show floor, along with exclusive giveaways.

The nearby shopDisney booth will feature a selection of Marvel merchandise based on fan-favorite characters, such as those from the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as Spider-Man and others.

Explore what’s next for Marvel Studios with a celebration of 60 “Beyond Amazing” years of Spider-Man, plus a sneak peek at Marvel Games and more.

Marvel DRAW Live! (Sept. 9 at 2-2:30 p.m. PT, and Sept. 10 at 1:30- 2 p.m. PT) – Brian Crosby, Marvel’s director of Themed Entertainment, leads participants in a real-time, step-by-step session on how to draw iconic Marvel heroes and villains. This session takes place at the D23 Expo Live! stage.

Hall D23 Presentation (Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. PT) – Marvel Studios’ filmmakers, celebrity talent, and surprise guests will take to the stage in Hall D23, along with personalities from Lucasfilm, and others, in a showcase of theatrical and Disney+ titles. The presentation takes guests behind the scenes of upcoming films, specials, and series, with exclusive footage and the chance to be among the first to learn about the studios’ upcoming works.

Marvel Comics: Celebrating 60 Years of the Amazing Spider-Man (Sept. 10 from 2-3 p.m. PT) – Join in the celebration of Spider-Man’s 60 years of web-slinging, which started with his debut in the 1962 Amazing Fantasy #15 comic book. Marvel’s Executive Spider-Editor Nick Lowe and Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski will take to the Backlot stage as they trace the character’s history in the comics, and look toward its future. Hear tidbits of Spider-Man trivia and receive an exclusive giveaway (while supplies last).

Marvel’s Executive Spider-Editor Nick Lowe and Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski will be on hand for signing opportunities on Sept. 10, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. PT, at Talent Central.

Some presentations during D23 Expo will be streamed for attendees.
