Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party: Tonight’s schedule

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins its 2026 season tonight, Aug. 7, at Magic Kingdom. The sold-out opening-night event brings five hours of trick-or-treating, exclusive entertainment, character appearances and Halloween attraction overlays to Walt Disney World.

Party guests may enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m. using only their event ticket. The park closes to daytime guests at 6 p.m., with the Halloween party officially running from 7 p.m. until midnight.

Here is the major entertainment schedule for Friday, Aug. 7:

  • 4 p.m.: Party guests may enter Magic Kingdom
  • 6 p.m.: Magic Kingdom closes to daytime guests
  • 7 p.m.: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins
  • 8:15 p.m.: Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade
  • 9:05 p.m.: Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
  • 10 p.m.: Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks
  • 10:35 p.m.: Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
  • 11:15 p.m.: Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade
  • Midnight: Final Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular performance and official end of the party

The Headless Horseman traditionally rides shortly before each parade begins. Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade steps off in Frontierland before traveling through Liberty Square and down Main Street, U.S.A.

The second parade generally offers a better opportunity for guests hoping to encounter lighter crowds, particularly as families with younger children begin leaving after the fireworks.

Additional entertainment available tonight

New for 2026, Stitch’s Masquerade Mashup brings Stitch, Lilo and Angel to the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Stitch’s trips into Lilo’s costume trunk spark changing themes, accessories and music throughout the evening.

Adventureland also welcomes Spirited Swashbucklers, a new interactive pirate experience featuring Captain Jack Sparrow and a band of buccaneers. The returning Cadaver Dans perform Halloween-inspired harmonies in Frontierland.

Guests should check the My Disney Experience app or the printed party map for performance times and any same-night changes.

Party-exclusive attraction experiences include Space Mountain in complete darkness, special lighting at Mad Tea Party and trick-or-treating inside Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. More than a dozen treat locations are spread throughout Magic Kingdom.

Weather could affect tonight’s schedule

The current Lake Buena Vista forecast includes the possibility of thunderstorms around 5 and 8 p.m., with mostly cloudy conditions during the remainder of the party. Outdoor entertainment, including the parade, castle stage shows and fireworks, may be delayed, modified or canceled because of weather.

Guests should monitor the My Disney Experience app and announcements inside Magic Kingdom for the latest information. Entertainment schedules remain subject to change.

Tonight’s $159 opening-night party is sold out. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party continues on 38 select nights through Oct. 31, with tickets ranging from $119 to $229 before tax.
