New Frozen, Zootopia, and Toy Story sequels are in the works
During today’s first-quarter earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that new installments of the Frozen, Zootopia, and Toy Story franchises will be coming to theaters.

The announcement of new movies from these particular franchises is not surprising considering that all three are extremely popular (and profitable), but were also all Academy award-nominated and/or Oscar winners, including Best Animated Feature awards for “Toy Story 3,” “Frozen,” “Zootopia,” and “Toy Story 4.”

“Today I’m so pleased to announce that we have sequels in the works from our animation studios to some of our most popular franchises, Toy Story, Frozen, and Zootopia,” Iger said. “We’ll have more to share about these productions soon. but this is a great example of how we’re leaning into our unrivaled brands and franchises.”
The casts seems to be onboard too.
All three franchises also have a considerable presence with several Toy Story and Frozen-themed attractions in Disney theme parks around the world, plus dedicated Toy Story Lands at Walt Disney World Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland

In addition, the first Zootopia-themed land is coming to Shanghai Disneyland, and three new Frozen-themed lands are currently being built at Disneyland Paris Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, and Hong Kong Disneyland.

LEAVE TOY STORY ALONE! It should’ve ended in the third installment, and then they swept up the last dregs of possible story and served them to us in the fourth. There’s no hope for the fifth.
