PHOTOS: Disney Skyliner cabins finally uncovered

The Disney Skyliner gondolas have finally had their wraps removed, giving guests a first look at the characters featured on them.

The all-new transportation system will have many cabins that feature graphics based on Disney attractions, films, and characters. Now that their protective coverings have been removed, we now know just what some of those designs look like.

Each of these fun, themed cabins can accommodate up to 10 guests, including those traveling with wheelchairs or other assistive devices.

There are 22 Disney character themes for the Disney Skyliner, and eight color options for the cabins. The gondolas operate on more than six miles of cable lines, traveling at about 11 miles per hour. The typical ride time will last from 5-15 minutes.

The transportation system is still currently under testing, but is scheduled to begin regular operation this fall.
