First Look: Looney Tunes Land opens today at Six Flags Magic Mountain
Today, June 6, 2026, Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, unveiled its refreshed and reimagined Looney Tunes™ Land. This family-friendly area features attractions, shows, and opportunities to meet classic characters. We were invited to take an early sneak peek at this reimagined area, share a little about what guests can expect, and offer our thoughts on this project.

The refreshing and reimagining of Looney Tunes Land at Six Flags Magic Mountain is the second phase in a multi-year renaissance that kicked off with the complete refurbishment of Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles last year and arrives just in time for the park’s 55th anniversary, which it will celebrate all summer long.
“Looney Tunes Land blends Warner Bros.’ timeless cartoon storytelling with the energy, humor, and adventure that generations have loved for decades in a vibrant new experience,” said Brian Oerding, park president of Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and designed for young adventurers and families alike, this beloved area, Looney Tunes Land, brings together colorful environments, playful attractions, and beloved characters for an all-new family experience filled with laughter, imagination, and discovery.
From immersive train rides to interactive trails and camp-inspired fun, every corner of the land invites guests to explore the wacky worlds of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Road Runner, and more.

What’s inside Looney Tunes Land?
The land is divided into 4 distinct neighborhoods, each representing one of the classic Looney Tunes characters, with its own design and theming. The neighborhoods include:
- Taz-Mania, guests are surrounded by a vibrant tropical landscape, accented by a path of destruction left by the Tasmanian Devil himself!
- This neighborhood hosts ‘Taz’s Tasmanian Train Tours’ and ‘Taz’s Exploration Trail,’ which will soon feature an augmented-reality treasure hunt!
- Road Runner Ridge is a New Mexico-inspired area, where guests can follow Wile E. Coyote on his never-ending quest to capture the elusive Road Runner on the ‘Road Runner Express’ coaster.
- Bugs Bunny Play Park is dedicated to the main hare himself and is focused on frolicking fun. At the center, guests will find the classic ‘Merrie Melodies Merrie-Go-Round,’ which has been restored and refreshed.
- At the ‘Bunny Bowl Amphitheater,’ you’ll find the all-new show ‘Vacation Mayhem’ starring all your favorite Looney Tunes friends.
- Coming soon is ‘Wise Acres,’ a thematic free-play and exploration zone featuring crawling tunnels, a tree structure to climb, and more. Keep in mind, Looney Tunes Land includes this area and much, much more for families.
- It is never duck season in Camp Duck Amuck! In this High Sierra-inspired zone, kids can join the patrol and hit the road for a four-wheelin’ jeep adventure through the great outdoors on ‘Daffy’s Forest Four-Wheelers.’
- Just be sure to keep your eyes peeled on your journey, because you never know who you’ll run into on the trail! Other attractions in this area are ‘Camp Bus,’ the starter coaster’ Canyon Cruiser,’ and ‘Camp Duck Amuck Fun Fort,’ where kids can climb, crawl, and slide through the Looney Tunes Lodge.

Details for families
As the parent of a toddler, I appreciated the dedication to having something for everyone in the family; every attraction in this area is for guests 48 inches tall or shorter, and adults must be accompanied by a child for the 2 coasters.
The additions of attractions like ‘Camp Duck Amuck Fun Fort’ and the soon-to-be-opened ‘Wise Acres’ give kids the opportunity to get right down to playtime, without the need to wait in lines, which is a godsend when you’ve got a kid who just wants to move! The area boasts plenty of shady spots for families who need a break and is close to two separate food-and-beverage locations.
Another small detail I really liked was the amount of stroller parking available and, almost as importantly, how clearly the signage around the land indicated where you could park. Trust me, there’s nothing worse than trying to find stroller parking when you have a wiggly kid on your hands. For families, Looney Tunes Land delivers fun and convenience in equal measure.

Final thoughts
As a theme park aficionado and a lifelong fan of the Looney Tunes, I also really got a kick out of the nods to each character, as well as some of the design choices they made throughout the land. The land is chock-full of nods to Looney Tunes history, from a plethora of Acme brand products littering the Wiley Coyote-themed area, to a collection of WANTED posters for relatively obscure characters in the Bugs Bunny Play Park. section.
A small detail that might otherwise go overlooked is that the pavement in each neighborhood is distinct, making these small divisions feel like their own lands, despite their relatively small size. The land’s use of new technology is not essential to the area’s enjoyment. Guests can use their phones to take AR pictures or enjoy moments with characters, sure, but there’s also plenty of opportunities to meet Bugs, Daffy, and the others in the real world.

In the end, these immersive details remind fans and newcomers alike why Looney Tunes Land continues to delight guests.

The reimagining and refreshing of Looney Tunes Land at Six Flags Magic Mountain is phase two of a multi-year park-wide renaissance, and while we don’t know exactly what the future holds for this Southern California institution, if this project is any hint, we’re in for good things in the years ahead. Overall, excitement for what’s next in the story of Looney Tunes Land is at an all-time high.
