Primark just opened in Orlando, and Disney fans should be excited
Primark is a clothing retailer that just opened at Florida Mall in Orlando with a huge Disney section, and they will be hosting family-friendly events all weekend.
Primark arrives in Orlando
We stopped by the new Primark at Orlando’s Florida Mall. While there is an entire floor dedicated to Disney and Marvel items exclusive to Primark, customers will also find items celebrating characters such as Hello Kitty, Pikachu, Shrek, Batman, and more.
Non-character-themed clothing items are also readily available. Denim items start at $10, while t-shirts can be found starting at $4.50. So there is something for everyone in the family. The store is located in the Plaza of the mall near American Girl Place.
Opening weekend at Primark Orlando with family-friendly activities
If you visit Primark’s new Orlando location this weekend, expect some family friendly activities. On Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m., there will be a live a capella performance throughout the day from The Joyful Noise Choir. They will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of Disney’s “The Lion King.”
Then at noon, customers can enjoy complimentary paletas from Morelia’s paletas cart.
The fun will continue on Sunday, Sept. 1, at 11:00 a.m., when illustrators will be turning customers into Disney characters.

Primark is an Ireland retailer expanding globally
This international retailer is known for their quality fashion and value pricing. They also have an 11-year relationship with Disney, making Orlando the perfect spot for Primark’s latest store. This spot is 36,200 square feet of clothing, shoes, accessories, plushies, bags, and more. While there is a large Disney section, it is just a small percentage of the entire store.
“This new store marks a major milestone for the brand,” said Kevin Tulip, president of Primark U.S. “This is our second location in Florida, 450th store globally, and one of many that we’re opening in the U.S. this year. We’ve continued to see a growing demand for our offering across the U.S., and with every new location it’s amazing to see how excited local shoppers are to have a Primark in their area. It’s safe to say ‘Primania’ has made its way to the U.S. — and it’s here to stay.”
Customers at Florida Mall’s Primark can expect some exclusive Disney collections
Primark’s new Orlando location will have various character collections including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, “Lilo & Stitch,” and the recent blockbuster “Deadpool & Wolverine.” There will also be a “Lion King” collection to celebrate both the 30th anniversary of the 1994 movie, and the upcoming “Mufasa: The Lion King” movie.
