In May, we reported that SeaWorld San Antonio and Busch Gardens Williamsburg were going cashless, and starting Aug. 30, 2023, all locations at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks in Florida (including restaurants, retail stores, games, ticket windows, and parking toll booths) will also only accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa credit cards and most debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay.

SeaWorld says, “cashless, contactless transactions are faster, safer, and more secure. It’s one more way we can help to provide a more streamlined and worry-free experience.”

Guests who only have cash can convert it to a Visa prepaid debit card at no charge via Cash-to-Card kiosks located throughout the park (you will not be asked to enter personal information). Up to $500 can be loaded onto one Visa prepaid debit card at a time (no minimum amount required). Cards are not reloadable, but additional cash can be loaded onto a new card free of charge.

Still have money on your card when you leave the park? Visa prepaid debit cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
