(REVIEW) SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan + cost and tips

Is the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Deal worth the cost? Our review breaks down the 90-minute rule and participating restaurants.

SeaWorld San Antonio review images

When planning a trip to a major theme park, one of the biggest questions groups face (besides which ride to hit first) is how to handle the food. Between the Texas heat and the miles of walking during a visit to SeaWorld San Antonio, guests get hungry and thirsty.

Unfortunately, theme park dining prices don’t usually provide much value. SeaWorld San Antonio offers a solution that sounds almost too good to be true: the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Deal. During a recent visit, we gave it a try.

Is the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan worth the investment price of $59.99 per person? Does the food hold up? How do you navigate the rules to ensure you’re getting your money’s worth? How will this plan compare to the ones at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay? We spent a full day at the park to put the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan to the test!

SeaWorld San Antonio

SeaWorld San Antonio is a 416-acre marine life park that blends world-class thrill rides with conservation-focused animal encounters. The park’s skyline is dominated by record-breaking steel and wood. The Texas Stingray holds the title of the tallest, fastest, and longest wooden coaster in the state, while the Steel Eel provides classic “airtime” with its 15-story drops.

Recent attraction additions

Wave Breaker – The Rescue Coaster: A double-launch experience where riders straddle jet-ski-style cars to simulate an animal rescue mission.

Barracuda Strike (New for 2026): North America’s tallest inverted family coaster, offering high-speed maneuvers suspended over the park’s central lake.

Catapult Falls: The world’s first launched flume coaster, featuring a unique vertical lift and the steepest flume drop in existence.

Classic attractions and shows

Beyond the mechanical thrills, the park remains a premier destination for marine education. The Orca Encounter focuses on the natural behaviors of killer whales, while Ocean Discovery showcases the agility of beluga whales and Pacific white-sided dolphins. For more hands-on experiences, guests can visit Discovery Point for dolphin swims or the Explorer’s Reef aquarium to see the newly arrived barracudas.

There is plenty to do at SeaWorld San Antonio that builds up an appetite. That is where the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan comes in.

What is the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Deal?

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

The SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Deal is a pre-paid meal program that allows guests to eat and drink at participating restaurants throughout the park for one flat fee.

For the 2026 season, the price generally sits at $59.99 for adults and $29.99 for children (ages 3-9), though these prices can fluctuate based on seasonal demand or online promotions. During our visit, we took advantage of two discounts to make the plan far more appealing.

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

When using the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan, every 90 minutes, guests can go through a restaurant line and receive:

  • One entree
  • One additional side or dessert (if available)
  • One non-alcoholic fountain beverage (or iced tea)

For children (ages 3-9), the all-day dining plan includes: (1) Kid’s Meals (kid’s entrée, kid’s side or dessert item, and kid’s drink) once every 90 minutes.

Once guests purchase the deal, either online in advance or at the park, guests receive a wristband with a barcode. This wristband is the ticket to a full day of food. Every time guests check out at a participating location, the cashier will scan the wristband, and they’ll be on their way.

Participating locations

Harbour Market

Not every food cart or kiosk accepts SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining. To make the most of it, you need to know where to go.

At SeaWorld San Antonio, the participating locations currently include:

  • Smokehouse Grill: Known for its slow-smoked BBQ, including brisket, ribs, and chicken.
  • Harbor Market: A food-court-style location near the front of the theme park offering a variety of options including burgers, sandwiches, and Asian cuisine.
  • Pizza and More: Serves pizza slices and side salads. Guests should be aware that this dining option is not listed on the SeaWorld San Antonio website. Whether the dining location is open or part of the plan may change.
  • Pretzel Kitchen: As you might expect, it serves pretzels.
  • Spanky’s Wings & Things: Known for traditional wings, boneless wings, and loaded fries.
  • Rio’s Crispy Coop: The go-to spot for fried chicken lovers, offering tenders and sandwiches.
  • Great White Grill: Serves up classic theme park fare like burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries.

What about dining at Aquatica San Antonio?

Located literally right next door to SeaWorld San Antonio is Aquatica, the water park. Navigating between the two parks is very easy. We chose not to enter Aquatica during our visit.

Still, for guests also visiting the adjacent Aquatica water park, the plan is valid at locations there, including Motu’s Pizzeria, Waterstone Grill, Surfside Chicken Hut, and Papa’s Papas. No additional plan is required!

The 90-minute rule, strategy is everything

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining
Food court area of Harbour Market

The “90-minute rule” is the most important factor in determining the value of your SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining purchase. Since you can only redeem your dining benefits once every hour and a half, timing is everything.

For example, if you have your first meal at 11:00 a.m. at Harbour Market, as we did, you are eligible for your next round at 12:30 p.m. However, if you wait until 1:00 p.m. for your first meal because you were busy riding Steel Eel or Barracuda Strike, you’ve pushed your second meal back to 2:30 p.m.

We suggest setting a timer on your phone as soon as your wristband is scanned. Even if you aren’t ready for a full second lunch at the 90-minute mark, you can use the plan to grab a fresh drink or a side of fruit to keep your energy up. Also, remember, the 90-minute clock starts when your wristband is scanned, not when you get your food. At locations like Smokehouse Grill and Harbour Market, this factor will matter since you get your food before you pay or scan your wristband.

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan: Breaking down the value

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

To see if the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining is “worth it,” let’s look at the math. A typical entree at the park, such as a pulled pork sandwich or a burger, will cost between $16.00 to $20.00. Most sides cost around seven dollars. Also, a fountain beverage costs more than six dollars. Thus, a single meal with an entree, an additional side, and a beverage will cost around $30 before tax or any discounts. That means if you dine three times in one day, the plan easily pays for itself.

Our experience with the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

We have utilized the All-Day Dining Plan at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay at least ten times each. As a result, the comparisons to how the plans work at those theme parks will be inevitable. Since this would be our first time using the SeaWorld San Antonio version, we visited the day before we planned to spend all day dining.

Additionally, we confirmed possible discounts for the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan. For our visit, we found two that we could use, which made the meals even more cost-effective. Always look for promotions regarding the dining plan. For example, during our visit, guests buying a one-day or two-day ticket could add on the dining plan for $30/day or less.

We visited on a Saturday in March. The park hours were 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We checked with SeaWorld ambassadors the day before about dining operating hours and pricing. There was confusion about what to expect due to conflicting information. In fairness, we visited on Friday, which usually has shorter hours than Saturday, so that may have led to the confusion.

Important note: possible dining closures

During our visit the day before to scout the situation, we noticed most dining locations closed early. However, on the positive side, most dining locations look to open by 11:00 a.m. Nonetheless, we wondered whether all quick-service places that accepted the All-Day Dining Plan would be open, since some were not open when we visited the day before. We often encounter this issue when dining at SeaWorld Orlando. As a result, we would encourage guests to be ready for closures.

What we ate at SeaWorld San Antonio

We found it odd that some food stands serving the standard United Parks flatbread pizzas did not accept the All-Day Dining Plan. This stands in contrast to the Florida United Parks. We found that ‘Pizza and More’ did take the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan. During our visit, we skipped this location in favor of more unique dining options.

Pretzel Kitchen

The Pretzel Kitchen opened earlier than any other SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining option. However, we cannot recommend using the plan there. Guests can order a variety of pretzels here, but the lack of side options reduces the plan’s value. While the side options at the pretzel stand locations at Florida United Parks & Resorts theme parks are only a small container of sauce, at least you get that with your dining plan credit. At SeaWorld San Antonio, dining plan users would need to pay extra for a small container of dipping sauce.

For this reason, we skipped the Pretzel Kitchen during our visit. Still, it was the only dining option accepting the dining plan that officially opened before 11:00 a.m.

Menu at Spanky’s Wings & Things

On a side note (pun intended), we noticed that quick-service locations at SeaWorld San Antonio offer a fairly limited selection of sides. In some cases, there weren’t additional sides or desserts available beyond what came with the entrée. While many meals do include fries, those are part of the standard offering rather than an added option. After trying five meals during our visit, the lack of variety was apparent. A broader mix of sides or desserts would enhance the overall All-Day Dining experience. Guests hoping to get the most value from the plan may want to prioritize locations that offer more variety in sides and desserts.

Harbour Market

Harbour Market opened a little before 11:00 a.m. on the day of our visit. We decided to try something from the Asian Station. We got the Beef Bulgogi Bowl, which costs $19.99. We saw limited side options on the menu boards and displays. So, we picked up a small slice of cheesecake as our additional item. Unlike at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, the cheesecake is not an additional upcharge for those using All-Day Dining. Since no prices were displayed for the cheesecake, we assume it would cost $7.99 when purchased à la carte.

Harbour Market
Beef Bulgogi Bowl

The ambassador told us that the Beef Bulgogi Bowl would not include carrots, contrary to the menu description. We said that we were okay with that. The Harbour Market entree came with seasoned beef, white rice, and cucumbers.

The cucumbers were crisp and fresh. However, the other components present standard theme park quick-service weaknesses. The white rice, though plentiful, failed to offer anything above basic quality and flavor. Additionally, the beef was basic ground beef with some Asian seasoning. While this is not anything close to authentic bulgogi, it did make a good start to our day.

Rio’s Crispy Coop

After walking around checking out some exhibits, we decided to dine at Rio’s Crispy Coop. This quick-service location is near one of the park’s water rides. It features fried chicken and chicken tenders. We opted for the chicken tenders and fries, which cost $18.99. For our side or dessert, we picked up a cupcake, which would cost $7.99 without the dining plan.

Chicken tenders are a theme park staple. These offered high-quality chicken for quick-service dining. However, the seasoning on the batter, the dipping sauce, the toast, and the fries were just average. Despite that, the portion size was above average.

Great White Grill

After riding Wave Breaker: The Rescue Coaster, we went to the nearby Great White Grill for a burger. The Cheeseburger entree, which comes with fries, costs $16.99. The only additional sides offered at Great White Grill as part of the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan were fries (which we were full of at this point in the day) and chocolate chip cookies. So, we added the cookies to go with our fountain beverage and entree.

Great White Grill
SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

We found the burger to be a slightly above-average theme park burger. Sadly, the bun was the weakest link for this burger. The cookies were nothing special. However, the service was well above average at this dining location. Great White Grill also offers chicken sandwiches, a plant-based burger, and a salad.

Smokehouse Grill

After going to see a show, we made a trip to the highest-rated SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan location, Smokehouse Grill. In fairness, the barbecue places at the United Parks & Resorts’ Florida theme parks always rate highly.

Smoked Turkey Sandwich

Additionally, like in Florida, several menu items are not included with the All-Day Dining Plan at Smokehouse Grill. Guests have seen this trend develop at United Parks & Resorts’ theme parks in recent years. In other words, if you bought the dining plan to get the most expensive brisket or ribs meal at Smokehouse Grill, we have some bad news…it is not included.

Examples of entrees included with the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining Plan are:

  • BBQ Chicken Quarter $18.99
  • Sausage $19.49
  • Pulled Pork Sandwich $19.49
  • Grilled Chicken Wrap $18.29
  • Smoked Turkey Cobb Salad $18.29
  • Smoked Turkey Sandwich $18.99

Smoked Turkey Sandwich

Since we have ordered all of these items at the Florida theme parks before, we went with our favorite, the Smoked Turkey Sandwich. With it, we selected the macaroni and cheese.

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

While the entree, which comes with fries, was not the best version we have tasted, it was still a solid option. The macaroni & cheese, which costs $8.99 a la carte, was also good but not great.

Regarding the barbecue smokehouses at United Parks & Resorts’ theme parks, some things never change. Sure, the menus look very similar. However, the queue to order your food will be one of the longest you’ve seen all day. Additionally, if you are trying to work the 90-minute cycle, you will have your wristband scanned after you order and pick up your food. We spent a significant amount of time waiting in the queue, watching the time tick away. However, this was not our longest wait for food of the day.

Spanky’s Wings & Things

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

Our longest wait for food of the day was at Spanky’s Wings & Things. This quick-service stand near Harbour Market primarily serves chicken wings. We experienced incredibly slow service during our visit later in the day. In fairness, it was around 6:00 p.m. Still, only eight people were in front of us, and it took 25 minutes to even order, and, of course, longer to get our food. Also, many issues were due to guests. This location does offer mobile ordering. However, that cannot be used with All-Day Dining.

We ordered the Traditional Wings ($18.99). They come with seven wings coated in a sauce of your choice and fries. There are no additional sides or desserts offered at Spanky’s Wings & Things for those looking to maximize their dining plan. With this entree, guests also get either ranch or bleu cheese as a side.

Spanky's Wings & Things

On a positive side, we found the wings were well prepared and of good quality. While the sauce options (we went with Buffalo sauce) could hinder this entree, the wings themselves might have been the best thing we ate all day. Additionally, the portion size for chicken wings is quite reasonable. On the less-positive side, the bleu cheese and fries were below average, even for a theme park.

Additional tips for success with SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

  1. Hydration: One of the most overlooked benefits of the plan is the “non-alcoholic fountain beverage.” In the San Antonio sun, staying hydrated is vital. Use your 90-minute windows to grab a fresh drink even if you aren’t hungry yet.
  2. The “side or dessert” choice: Most entrees come with a side (like fries). The plan allows you to get another side OR a dessert. When possible, do this! Even if it is just a cup of fruit, that makes a difference
  3. Sharing is prohibited: Each wristband is for one person. If ambassadors see guests sharing plates, they have the right to revoke the dining plan without a refund. While we have never seen this, it is possible.
  4. Watch the clock: Most dining locations open about 30 to 60 minutes after the park opens and may close earlier than the park’s official closing time. Check the SeaWorld app and signs in the park for operating hours so you don’t miss your final meal window.
  5. Look for the icon: On the menu boards, look for the SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining icon. These indicate exactly which items are included. Some premium items without an icon will require a upcharge.

Is it worth it for you?

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining is an excellent value for many guests, but it isn’t necessarily the right fit for everyone. You should strongly consider purchasing the deal if you plan to stay at the park for more than six hours, as this gives you enough time to cycle through multiple meal windows. It is also an ideal choice for families with teenagers or “big eaters” who can really put away meals after a few coasters. Additionally, many guests find the plan worth it simply for the convenience of not having to carry a wallet or stress over individual food costs all day. In contrast, others appreciate it as a built-in excuse to take a sit-down break in the air conditioning every few hours.

SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining

On the opposite side, you might want to skip the plan if you are a light eater who is typically satisfied with just small snacks during the day. If you only plan to stay for a few hours to catch a single show or ride, you likely won’t hit the “break-even” point on the cost.

Furthermore, if you prefer signature dining experiences like Dine with Orcas, keep in mind that those are not included in the plan and would be an extra expense. Finally, if you are visiting during a seasonal food festival and would rather spend your budget on specialized tasting booths, the standard SeaWorld San Antonio All-Day Dining will not help with that.
