Six Flags Fright Fest 2026: Where to get scared across the U.S.
Six Flags Fright Fest is returning to select parks this fall, bringing haunted mazes, scare zones, live entertainment, and nighttime thrills to destinations across North America. Six Flags has announced the participating parks and event dates for the 2026 season, with additional details expected to be released by each park in the coming months.

Six Flags guests can experience not-so-scary fun by day, with family-friendly daytime activities, games, shows, and trick-or-treating (costumes are permitted for guests 12 and under). But everything changes when the sun goes down.
That’s when creatures lurk in foggy corners and spine-tingling chills await in immersive scare zones, but true horror fans can unlock the scares with “pay-to-panic” haunted mazes—and don’t forget, thrill rides are even scarier after dark.

What is Six Flags Fright Fest?
Fright Fest is Six Flags’ annual Halloween event, held on select nights each fall at participating parks. Depending on the location, the event features scare zones filled with roaming monsters, haunted mazes available for an additional fee, live entertainment, themed food and drinks, and the opportunity to experience many of the park’s thrill rides after dark. Attractions and entertainment vary by park.
Admission to Fright Fest is included with regular park admission or an eligible season pass at participating parks. However, haunted mazes require a separate Haunted Attractions Pass, while scare zones, live entertainment, and most rides are included. Ticket options and attractions may vary by park.

Several other Six Flags parks host Halloween events under different names, including SCarowinds at Carowinds and Halloween Haunt at select former Cedar Fair parks.
