Ho, ho, Halloween
Spirit Halloween is about to get Spirit Halloween’d. The chain store of Halloween costumes and décor typically operates seasonally inside vacant, defunct department stores. This year when spooky season concludes, a handful of Spirit Halloween locations will be transformed into Spirit Christmas, replacing the macabre merchandise with a winter wonderland of holiday apparel, décor, and stocking stuffers.

Spirit Christmas will also be home to a meet & greet with Santa Claus, offering free digital photos from Nov. 29 – Dec. 24, 2024.

Merchandise sold at Spirit Christmas
While merchandise isn’t available for purchase online (or at least, it’s not at the time of this writing … except for “ugly” sweaters), the Spirit Christmas website lists some of the items customers will be able to find at the store.
A unique area within the stores called Inflatable Land will be dedicated to inflatable yard characters. Another section, Creepmas, will focus on products that combine horror with the holidays.

Spirit Christmas will also sell specialty gingerbread house kits emulating the stores’ Gingerbread Lane Post Office displays.

Speaking of Gingerbread Lane, that’s where visitors can pose for photo-ops and write letters to Santa.

Other items sold at Spirit Christmas stores include:
- candy
- pet apparel
- kids’ apparel
- adult apparel
- kitchen décor
- animated décor
- bathroom décor
- stocking stuffers
- “White Elephant” gifts (aka “Yankee Swap” gifts)
