Disney’s Happiest Haunts Tour has returned to the Disneyland Resort, offering Halloween fans a special opportunity to explore the parks’ ghoulish seasonal decor with the help of a VIP guide.
Guests on the Disneyland Resort’s Happiest Haunts Tour learn about the history of Halloween as a whole, while also hearing tales specific to Disney and the Anaheim resort’s annual Halloween Time celebration. The tour begins at Disney California Adventure — which is hosting the new Oogie Boogie Bash — on Buena Vista Street, where the Headless Horseman is glowing in the dark, then continues to Radiator Screams where you meet Mater the Van-pire and the rest of his team. As you walk back to Disneyland park, you get your first candy treat.
At Disneyland park, your first stop is the 16-foot tall Mickey-shaped pumpkin, which makes a perfect picture location. Along Main Street, U.S.A., you’ll explore the displays of one-of-a-kind pumpkins. Next, you will be taken to the iconic Partners Statue, where each of the pumpkins represents a different land. The tour then continues from New Orleans Square to Tomorrowland.
Disney’s Happiest Haunts Tour is offered daily through October 31 in the early evening. It costs $99 per person, and lasts two and a half hours. For exact times and to book your reservation, visit Disneyland.com or call 714-781-8687, and watch this video for a preview of this year’s Halloween celebration at Disneyland:
