Why Disney Vacation Club needs an NYC destination – DePaoli on DeParks

Thirty years ago, Disney Vacation Club (DVC) launched, and it hasn’t stopped construction since. I think when a lot of people initially hear about DVC, they likely imagine that it’s simply vacation opportunities at the Disney Parks around the world, but it’s so much more.

‘Ratatouille the Musical,’ a TikTok-made play that aims for Broadway

Ratatouille the Musical

2020 has been full of surprises. One of the wildest is that a bunch of users on TikTok came together to create a musical of the 2007 animated Pixar film, “Ratatouille.” What is even wilder is that it not only went viral, but that Pixar, Disney, and Broadway even acknowledged it. If the film proved that anyone can cook, TikTok proved that anyone can write a Broadway-worthy play.

A look back at the way-too-short-lived ‘Ghostbusters Spooktacular’ – DePaoli on DeParks

When Universal Studios Florida opened on June 7, 1990, one of the most epic and reliable attractions available was the “Ghostbusters Spooktacular.” I remember experiencing this show as a kid and being surprised when such a unique attraction closed just six years after the park’s opening. Since it was such a short-lived attraction, let’s take a look back at what made it so special.
