‘The Conjuring: Beyond Fear’ returns for Six Flags Halloween 2026 (teaser)

One of Six Flags’ biggest Halloween additions appears poised to return for the 2026 haunt season. Six Flags has begun teasing the return of ‘The Conjuring: Beyond Fear,’ its premium SCREAMium attraction inspired by Warner Bros.’ The Conjuring Universe. Social media posts hint that a full announcement could be just around the corner.

The teaser features a VHS tape labeled “Handle With Care” alongside the message: “Something sinister returns to Six Flags. Experience supernatural horror like never before with the SCREAMium experience, Conjuring Beyond Fear.”

What is ‘The Conjuring: Beyond Fear’?

Debuting in 2025, ‘The Conjuring: Beyond Fear’ became Six Flags’ first interactive SCREAMium experience, placing guests inside an original supernatural story set within The Conjuring universe.

The Conjuring: Beyond Fear‘ premiered at Carowinds (during Scarowinds), Cedar Point, Kings Island and Canada’s Wonderland.

Unlike a traditional haunted house, the approximately 20-minute experience sends small groups through a series of highly themed environments as they attempt to contain the evil forces that have escaped the Warren Artifact Room. Along the way, guests encounter supernatural characters from the film franchise, including The Nun, The Crooked Man and The Ferryman, while using the infamous Annabelle doll as bait to lure the entities back into containment.

The separately ticketed experience combined cinematic sets, live actors, practical effects and interactive storytelling. It’s one of the most ambitious Halloween attractions Six Flags has introduced.

The debut of ‘The Conjuring: Beyond Fear’ came during a Halloween season in which Six Flags placed a greater emphasis on original storytelling. Alongside the interactive attraction, the company released “Come Out and Play,” its first original horror short film, introducing guests to an original supernatural world tied to Fright Fest.

A standout addition to Fright Fest

The attraction stood apart from traditional haunted mazes by offering a story-driven experience that required a separate SCREAMium admission. Attractions Magazine visited the attraction during its inaugural season, praising its immersive environments, interactive elements and cinematic production value.

Earlier this year, Carowinds also brought the experience back during its Spring Break celebration, suggesting Six Flags views the attraction as a seasonal staple.

What we know about 2026

So far, Six Flags has confirmed very little beyond teasing the attraction’s return.

However, the coordinated teaser campaign across Six Flags’ official social media channels strongly suggests additional details will be announced soon as the company begins unveiling this year’s Fright Fest lineup.

Attractions Magazine will continue covering Six Flags’ Halloween announcements and update this story as additional information becomes available.
