Happy Meal toys combine the worlds of Hello Kitty and Yu-Gi-Oh! at McDonald’s
Hello Kitty and Friends + Yu-Gi-Oh! = a new McDonald’s Happy Meal collaboration with new plush toys and the Worlds of Fun mobile game.
Each Happy Meal contains a collectible Hello Kitty and Yu-Gi-Oh! plush toy, which is a combination of a Hello Kitty character and a Yu-Gi-Oh! character, including:
- Hello Kitty x Dark Magician
- Cinnamoroll x Blue-Eyes White Dragon
- Badtz-maru x Red-Eyes Black Dragon
- Pompompurin x Exodia the Forbidden One
- My Melody x Dark Magician Girl
- Keroppi x Kuriboh
- Pochacco x Time Wizard
- Kuromi x Slifer the Sky Dragon
- Tuxedosam x Obelisk the Tormentor
- Chococat x The Winged Dragon of Ra
“We are bringing two beloved brands together for this special promotion and offering fans something unique and unexpected,” says Jill Koch, senior vice president of marketing and brand management for Sanrio. “We hope to surprise and delight our fans around the world with these limited-edition collectibles.”
The mobile game that can be played on smart phones or tablets allows fans to select their favorite character combo, setting, and power. Kids can also download Hello Kitty and Yu-Gi-Oh! coloring and activity sheets. Click here for details.
McDonald’s Happy Meals include a choice of hamburger or chicken nuggets served with fries, apple slices, and a drink. With every Happy Meal purchase, a donation is made to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
McDonald’s is also currently offering the Collector’s Edition Cup Meal, which includes a collectible cup with the purchase of a Sausage Egg McMuffin, Hash Brown, and coffee combo meal or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or Big Mac combo meal with fries and a drink.
