Toy Story 5 brings back the glory days of cereal box prizes
A new *potential* Kellogg’s promotion tied to Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” is bringing toys back inside cereal boxes, reviving one of the most nostalgic traditions in the breakfast aisle.

According to reports, specially marked boxes of select Kellogg’s cereals will begin arriving on shelves nationwide in the coming days. This information is not currently appearing on any official sources, though articles from AOL, MSN, and others started appearing last week.
Supposedly, inside the specially marked cereal boxes, fans can find playable mini toys that double as spoons inspired by “Toy Story 5,” giving families a reason to dig through the cereal box for more than just breakfast.
For many fans, this may be the most exciting part of the potential announcement. In-box prizes were once everywhere, from stickers and decoder rings to mini games and plastic figures, before gradually disappearing from store shelves. Bringing them back with one of Disney and Pixar’s biggest upcoming releases is a direct hit of millennial nostalgia.
And yes, reactions online have already started. Some fans think the toys are adorable throwbacks, while others say the stylized faces make them just a little creepy. You see, to turn your toy into a spoon, you remove the head of the toy.
Kellogg’s has not published an official news release about these new cereal toys. We have added these potential new toys to our Toy Story 5 Reveal Roundup Week coverage and will keep an eye out for any official updates from Kellogg’s.
And don’t miss the many Toy Story experiences at Walt Disney World to enjoy too!
