Two new thrill slides opening March 2022 at Adventure Island

Adventure Island in Tampa, Fla. is racing into 2022 with two new thrilling experiences opening just in time for spring break!

The new experiences, Rapids Racer and Wahoo Remix, will make a splash when they open at the water park next March.

Rapids Racer

Feel the rush of competition on the all-new Rapids Racer, as riders grab a two-person raft and speed through nearly 600 feet of slide with low walls to help keep an eye on your opponents. The thrills are amplified as riders swirl through the world’s first dueling saucers and race through high-speed tunnels, turns and more.

Wahoo Remix

Riders can enjoy waves of water and sound as they splash to the beat of a remixed favorite attraction. Formerly Wahoo Run, Wahoo Remix will be Adventure Island’s first waterslide to feature synchronized light and sound elements for an all-new family raft ride experience. Enclosed tunnels that were once dark will now glow as riders travel through over 600 feet of slide.
