New artwork, dining info for Universal hotels near Epic Universe
Universal Orlando revealed new concept art and restaurant names for its Stella Nova and Terra Luna hotels, opening 2025 near Epic Universe.
As part of an expansion to Universal Orlando Resort that also includes the new Universal Epic Universe theme park, two new hotels — Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort — will open in early 2025. Epic Universe will debut later that year.
Rates for these accommodations — categorized by Universal within the “prime value,” or second-most-economical, tier — will start around $150 per night (based on a four-night stay).
As previously announced, Stella Nova will open Jan. 21, 2025 and Terra Luna will follow on Feb. 25, 2025. Reservations have been open since late 2023.
Today, Universal shared new virtual fly-throughs of both resorts, plus restaurant names and first-look renderings of various resort spaces.
Universal Stella Nova Resort
Opening date: Jan. 21, 2025
Designed to reflect the infinite vastness of the universe — where galaxies spiral ever outward and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars — this hotel is highlighted in serene teals and calming purples to instantly put guests at ease.

This artwork joins the previously unveiled renderings (below) of Stella Nova’s guest rooms, pool area, Cosmos Café and Market, and lobby.
Universal Terra Luna Resort
Opening date: Feb. 25, 2025
Here, guests will find themselves in the midst of an extraordinary landing zone within an awe-inspiring solar system — accented with fresh surroundings and terrestrial greens and golds.

Amenities of Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts
Stella Nova and Terra Luna will each have their own pool, hot tub, fitness room, game room, recreation/multi-purpose room, and onsite gift shop.
Since both resorts are official hotel properties of Universal Orlando, overnight guests receive free bus transportation to Universal theme parks and early park admission (to either The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure, plus to Universal Volcano Bay).
Stella Nova and Terra Luna are designed by Universal Creative and co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co, the company behind all eight existing hotels at Universal Orlando.
Again, Epic Universe will not be open when Stella Nova and Terra Luna first commence operations in early 2025. Universal has not announced a specific opening date for the new theme park at this time.
Where are Stella Nova and Terra Luna?
Stella Nova is located at 4500 Epic Blvd., while Terra Luna is at 5500 Epic Blvd.
Along with Epic Universe, this development expands Universal Orlando to an annexed property about five miles from the main hub of its existing parks (and about three miles from the site of Universal’s Endless Summer Resorts, themselves also separated from the rest of the destination).
Though neither Stella Nova or Terra Luna is directly connected to Epic Universe, both are immediately across the street from the new park.
Universal Helios Grand Hotel
A luxury property, Universal Helios Grand Hotel, will be physically located inside Epic Universe, connected to the Celestial Park central plaza.
Universal has not revealed further details, rates, or an opening timeline for Helios Grand.
