Universal Studios Hollywood celebrates Independence Day all weekend long

Universal Studios Hollywood has extended its 4th of July celebration to July 2-4, 2022 with live music and a fireworks spectacular.

The festivities kick off on July 2, welcoming guests to the park with themed décor and a live fife and drum band.

Spend the day experiencing attractions such as Jurassic World – The Ride, inspired by the “Jurassic World” movie series; The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash, a madcap journey through the streets of New York; and Illumination’s “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.”

Don’t miss the Minions as they take over the park through July 17, 2022, in honor of the cinematic release of “Minions: The Rise of Gru.”

Get a behind-the-scenes look at movie-making and television show production on the Studio Tour, and satisfy your inner thrill-seeker with a ride on Transformers: The Ride 3-D and Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride.

At 9 p.m. each night of the event, a dazzling fireworks display will light up the sky, synchronized to Universal-themed music and patriotic tunes and centered on two locations inside the park.

The 4th of July celebration is included with park admission.

Visitors can also enjoy “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” projection show, which runs nightly through August 14, 2022.
