Guests visiting Disney World in 2025 outside of the eligible free dining dates can still purchase a dining plan. This deal simply indicates when the add-on will be offered for free.
New for 2025 (the whole year), guests staying at Disney World resort hotels receive free water park admission on their arrival day.
Difference between Disney table-service and quick-service restaurants
Table-service restaurants indicate dining locations where a waiter serves the guests’ table. Buffets are also included under the table-service monicker. A few examples of table-service restaurants are Chefs de France at Epcot and Tiffins at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as all character meals, such as Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom. Note that some table-service restaurants may require two entitlements from your Disney Dining Plan.
Quick-service restaurants, also called counter-service restaurants, refer to dining locations where guests order their food from a cashier at a counter and seat themselves. Examples of quick-service restaurants include Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café at Magic Kingdom, Connections Eatery at Epcot, and many resort hotel food courts.
